If you care about the health of the Credit River please make the time tonight to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Greg Clark Chapter of Trout Unlimited Canada. The meeting is taking place at the offices of the Credit Valley Conservation Authority at 1255 Old Derry Rd. W. in Meadowvale Village and doors open at 7 pm.
Doug Jones, P. Eng., Managing Director for Environmental and Development Services in Orangeville will be speaking about the current status of the environmental assessment and ongoing upgrades to the Orangeville
water treatment plant. If you are not aware, the Orangeville Sewage Treatment Plant is looking to expand the existing capacity of the plant from 14,400 m3/day to 17,500 m3/day and public input is important ! Those of us who fly fish the Upper Credit are aware of the collapse of the Blue Winged Olive in this reach and it is important that Mr. Jones hear concerns from the fly fishing community in the Greater Toronto Area.
